Rebecca & Christopher // A backyard wedding in Woodside, CA

Backyard weddings are my favorite. I’ve been vocal about it, but I rarely get one that’s actually at home, in their own backyard. We’re millennials, not known for having the luxury of “space”. So it goes. That, as the lead up suggests, wasn’t the case for this late summer day in the bay. Becca and Chris planned everything out, starting the day cramming their community in a small space only recently seeded and decorated, then walking over to grab dinner at a local spot, before gathering at home to tell stories from their past.

Honestly, it’s a day they live together all the time. One of those days we all end up falling into, the ones that make up the bulk of our lives. Driven by where we live, who we know.

This time everyone showed up and they celebrated it.
